Leprechauns, ghosts, zombies, werewolves, and vampires… oh my!
Praise for the two original chapbook collections—now all in one with brand-new stories. Finally, the entire story of Bruce and Roxanne in one volume!
Bruce Vincent has to be one of the most infuriating characters I have ever read about. He seems oblivious to practically everything including the vital role that Roxanne plays in his life. Roxanne is equally frustrating. I get the urge to grab hold of her, give her a good shaking and tell her to find herself a man who actually appreciates her! Now, don’t get me wrong, I love these stories. Each time a new one arrives I can’t wait to see what kind of mess Bruce can get himself in to. Each time Rie Sheridan writes a Bruce and Roxanne story she manages to find an even more bizarre situation for the unfortunate couple... A superb bit of escapism.

Meet Roxanne, who is good with clues, and Bruce, who is usually clueless. Mix them together, and you have the silliest supernatural sleuths I’ve seen in a long, long time. Come along for the ride – will Bruce finally appreciate Roxanne’s good qualities? Will Roxanne keep Bruce from losing more body parts? Yup – it’s that kind of world. You gotta grin or slap them senseless, and I vote for the grins!

Tales From the Home For Wayward Spirits and Bar-B-Que Grill will tickle your baby back ribs and drizzle your funny bone in its special secret-recipe sauce. Cookin’ on the grill we’ve got zombies, werewolves, ghosts (it’s hard to keep the sauce on them), and even Cupid. If you’re in the mood for a good ol’ fashioned, lighthearted horror meal, let Rie Sheridan serve you this delightful treat!
